Pitts S2B Paper Model

Client: Sky Unlimited
Type: Stunt plane / corporate gift
Paper model of the Pitts S2B stunt plane for Sky Unlimited

An iconic scale model with striking details

Commissioned by the pilot of Sky Unlimited, we designed a large paper model of the Pitts S2B — a classic two-seat biplane racer in which you can experience loops, barrel rolls and other aerobatics. The model spans eight A4 sheets, with the striking livery illustrated in detail. And a fun touch: the propeller on the paper model can really spin.

Anyone who wants can book an aerobatics flight with Sky Unlimited: strapped in tightly in the front seat, briefing beforehand, then up into the air. And who knows — you may even take the stick yourself at a safe height. The paper model is a fine keepsake of that special experience.

The Pitts: built for stunts

The Pitts Special is a legend in aerobatics. The S2B is a high-performance two-seater: pilot in the rear, passenger or student in front. Compact, agile and designed to go inverted — loops, rolls, hammerheads and more.

Sky Unlimited flies this type of aircraft at shows and for private bookings. You get a solid dose of vitamin G in packages where you may even take the controls yourself. The colour scheme of their Pitts is distinctive enough to be instantly recognisable at airshows — and in paper.

Large format, moving detail

Eight A4 sheets give room for fuselage, wings, tail surfaces and all the livery details. The model is deliberately larger than a simple one-sheet build — fitting for an aircraft designed to impress.

The special feature of the paper model is the propeller, designed so it can spin on the finished model. A small piece of paper mechanics that lifts this build to another level.

A fine keepsake of an incredible flight in this biplane racer.

The result

The pilot of Sky Unlimited has a paper model that captures the aircraft and the experience: recognisable colours, serious size, and that spinning propeller as the eye-catcher. Suitable to hand out to clients, at shows, or as a keepsake after a flight.

A paper model of your own aircraft or machine — with just that one detail that sticks.
